If you hear me say, "milk, dark, nuts or no nuts", you know I must be talking about the chocolate Brand Cailler.
Rain was predicted for today so I decided to visit Maison Cailler, which is a chocolate-making facility offering factory tours, tastings, workshops & an interactive museum.
Today, I just went to purchase the hot chocolate powder and to enjoy a wonderful tasty hot chocolate to drink!! At a later day, Michael and I will go back to purchase the bars to take home with us. I did fill a carry on with bags of the hot chocolate mix.

It all began in 1819 with the birth of our Cailler brand. And if you’re a fan of milk chocolate, thank Daniel Peter, the son-in-law of François-Louis Cailler. He was the one who, in 1875, had the brilliant idea to invent it and then commercialize it under the name Peter-Cailler & Cie.
Since then, just like Daniel Peter, Cailler has been carrying on this invention by preparing their chocolate with condensed milk to offer you that unique taste and bring you a little happiness, chocolate after chocolate.
For the magic to happen,the quality of our Swiss milk is essential! That's why Cailler has forged a strong partnership with around 44 dairy farmers and their approximately 1,500 cows, all located within a 30 km radius of our Maison Cailler, in the heart of the beautiful Gruyère region!

The local IP-SUISSE farms Cailler collaborates with are committed to sustainable practices that protect biodiversity, preserve the environment, and ensure the well-being of their cows.
The instructor for the class I saw was Geraldine. Michael and I, in the past, have taken a couple classes taught by her.
This is the description of the course. "Begin your adventure by an introduction of the chocolatiers and a chocolate tasting, followed by decorating two chocolate molds, choosing your favorite ingredients and combining them with the best dark, milk, or white Cailler chocolate. Each participant will pour the mixture into the molds and will finish it to create their own masterpiece. While the chocolate is setting, you will discover from our chocolatiers the origins of chocolate and art of preparing a shiny chocolate bar. To reward you for your great work, you can not only take your lovely chocolate creations home, we also offer you your own Cailler apron as a souvenir."

As I said, I came for a hot chocolate. Well, they serve it different this year.
You can get a milk or dark chocolate by itself. When it says HOT they really mean it. It's hot and not lukewarm.
Now they have these stations.
I could add a pump of any of thee flavorings
Whipped cream or not. The thickest whiiped cream I have come across
You could add up to three toppings.

I topped mine off with Smarties, mini marshmallows, nd hazel nuts!!
When we come back to buy the chocolate bars, Michael will have his chance to try one.

We had heavy rain and hail!
The milk from these cows is used to make Gruyère cheese. This region of Switzerland has rolling hills. The farms are large and there is quite a lot of acreage for growing corn, haying, or grazing cows.
Oh, no! As soon as I saw the +6, I knew I jinxed myself complaining about the German train this morning.
Luckily, I made it home before the rain started.
What is that on the table? Duckie appeared out of nowhere. Hoping he doesn't get washed away.
Finding Duckie is a simple game for adults. Over the last week or so, we have shared many a laugh. Can you imagine the joy it could bring to children? It is like an Easter egg hunt except it is little tiny ducks.
