Today was one of those days. The only positive was it was a sunny warm day.
The alpabzug, the cows coming down from the high mountains to the lower valleys for winter, did not take place in Unterseen this year.
So, we left early to go to Kerns where the Alpabzug was to take place. The only problem was we got the wrong date. It is happening next weekend. Oh, well.
We remember seeing a flyer for a Fall Festival in Iseltwald. Unfortunately, we had to go all the way back to Interlaken Ost to get the bus to Iseltwald. And....the festival wasn't being held in the center of the village.
Instead, we took a hike by Lake Brienz. It wasn't something we had planned but we still had a wonderful day together.

Iseltwald used to be a quaint quiet village until the Korean Netflix series Crash Landing on You filmed a few episodes in Iseltwald. Now, many Koreans make a pilgrimage to Iseltwald to have their picture taken on the dock where the main male character plays a song especially written for his brother.
The hotel and restaurant are cashing in on the popularity of Crash Landing on You.
I understand the village charges private tour buses a fee to drop off passengers who want to take pictures around the village.
The main characters were filmed at this location for the opening scenes.
