Brienz, Switzerland

Brienz is a village on the northeast shore of Lake Brienz, in Switzerland’s Bernese Oberland region. The village's 18th-century wooden chalets and the sculptures dotted throughout the village are testimonials to a woodcarving tradition as is the inside of the Brienz Church.

Tourism and woodcarving are the main activities in Brienz.

I do not have information about this church but the wood carvings are beautiful.

Both Michael and I light candles for family and friends.
